The Agri-Food Immigration Pilot offers a pathway to permanent residency for workers in specific industries within Canada’s agriculture and food production sectors. This pilot is tailored for those with relevant work experience and a genuine job offer.
Job Offer Requirements
Your job offer must:
- Be in an eligible occupation within one of the specified industries.
- Be full-time (at least 30 hours per week) and non-seasonal.
- Be permanent and located in Canada (outside of Quebec).
- Meet or exceed the prevailing wage for the job in the location of employment.
Educational Requirements
Canadian high school diploma or equivalent foreign credential verified by an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA).
Work Experience
At least one year of full-time, non-seasonal work experience within the past three years in one or more eligible occupations.

- A work permit issued based on a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) with a minimum 12-month duration under the Temporary Foreign Worker Program.
